Summer is the season when the UV index reaches its highest, and our team “We Care, We Share” has worked hard to support the boatmen who are driving passengers back and forth from Dala to Yangon under the scorching sun.
During this period, our team members provided assistance to over 130 boatmen at the Nanthida Jetty, including 20 trishaw men. We distributed hats and cotton shirts to protect them from the heat, as well as rice, peanut oil, and a carton of egg each for sustenance. This is all done with love and devotion.
Although the burning heat and hunger may disappear for a while, we hope that every time they think about this gesture, it will fill them with happiness.
